After the firecracker

New Year's Eve in Mannheim is over and we cleaned up during the night. A new year has begun for me too. What it will bring...

...let's see. I wish you all a Happy New Year 2026 and many new experiences.

I had a very surprising one just before Christmas. A good friend and classmate from my primary school days in Berlin in the early 90s, Dennis, got in touch after almost 30 years because he found me by chance on social media. We had lost track of each other since then: he immediately sent me a recent photo of himself and his family. Really great, thanks Dennis.

So here's another request to everyone: please share this blog !!!. And, like Dennis, please send me pictures of yourselves and your activities so that I can share a little of your life.
